Weekly Questions
Week   1 - July   3rd   Preface / Chapter 1
Week   2 - July 10th   Chapters 2 & 3

"And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers." Acts 2:42

"And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching." Hebrews 10:24-25

Home Fellowships are a great way for the body of Christ to minister to one another in a small group setting. Through teaching, worship, prayer and accountability, we can encourage each other in our daily walks with our Lord and Savior. The Home Fellowships at Calvary Chapel Beachside are based on the scriptures Acts 2:42 and Hebrews 10:24-25 and are centered on the Word in order to gain a deeper understanding, as well as practical application and discussion.

The Home Fellowships meet July 3rd - September 4th. During these 10 weeks we will be shutting down most weekly ministries as we encourage the body to get plugged into a Home Fellowship (our Wednesday evening Bible Study will resume September 11th). Some of the goals of these Home Fellowships are the following:

Deeper Understanding
"These (the Bereans) were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so." Acts 17:11

Practical Application
"But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in His law he meditates day and night." Psalm 1:2

Fellowship and Prayer
"So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved." Acts 2:46

"My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth." 1 John 3:18

"Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep." Romans 12:15

Encouragement of One Another
"We then who are strong ought to bear with the scruples of the weak, and not to please ourselves. Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, leading to edification." Romans 15:1-2

"For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him. Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing." 1 Thessalonians 5:9-11

"iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend." Proverbs 27:17

"Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted. Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." Galatians 6:1-2

If you are not currently signed up for a Home Fellowship, we would like to encourage you to sign up and get plugged in. Please call the church office if you have and questions or would like more information.
