Barry and Linda Felis

California

About Us:

Our mission is to take the gospel of Christ out from the church and into the public arena, proclaiming Christ on coastal piers, city sidewalks, in marketplaces, in parks, on college campuses, and in neighborhoods. Anywhere that people move and gather, is our 'pulpit.'

We can't fulfill the Great Commission all by ourselves, so a key part of our ministry is training others. We hold training sessions for anyone who wants to learn how to share their faith. One of our core values is the key role of the local church in fulfilling the work of God in the world. We seek to enter into partnership with local churches that want help in "jump-starting" their evangelistic ministries. Learning to share their faith in the public arena is a tremendous faith-building experience.

Jason and Jill Fizzard

Hanoi, Vietnam

About Us:

In 2006, as a newly married couple, Jason and Jill left with a three-year commitment to teach English and build relationships with Vietnamese university students. Their family grew with the addition of Ella (2007) and Madeline (2009) while the Fizzards enjoyed living and doing ministry in small-town Vietnam. In 2011, Jason was asked to serve as the country director for their teaching organization and they moved north and quickly discovered a new love for the people in the capitol, Hanoi. Their family grew again in 2013 with twins, Anna and Noah. In 2017, God began a new chapter as Jason took a step of faith and accepted the invitation to serve as pastor for one of the two locations (My Dinh) for Hanoi International Fellowship (www.hif.vn). Jason enjoys teaching the Bible weekly to approximately 300 people from over fifty nations, including a fast-growing number of Vietnamese seekers and believers fluent in English. Hanoi, a sprawling city of 8 million people, is home to thousands of expatriates and Vietnamese who have studied overseas. As a missional church, HIF seeks to reach out to non-believers through Alpha course and impacting the community through ministries such as Spotlight English clubs, CityPartners (www.citypartners.vn) and the Love Hanoi Initiative (www.lovehanoi.org).

As a family, they share the Good News of Jesus Christ by reaching out to the widows, sick, needy and lost Calabrese in the mountains of Aspromonte where they live (and in the neighboring towns and cities). They have occasional bible studies and prayer meetings with migrant workers in English. Please pray for God's anointing power to come upon them to share the Gospel with love and conviction.

Vision & Mission

The vision for the mission's ministry is found in Acts 1:8; "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." It's our desire to fulfill the great commission as the Lord Jesus commanded us in Mathew 28:19–20 in conjunction with Acts 1:8 as His witnesses in our Jerusalem (Huntington Beach), Judea (Orange County), Samaria (United States/Baja Mexico), and to the end of the earth (Over Seas).

It's our desire to equip and encourage the body as a 'whole' in fulfilling the great commission in our community and beyond. We seek to provide each person with the opportunity to not only discover their role in fulfilling the great commission, but more importantly the privilege of being "sent" as His ambassador in making disciples.
